Active & Inactive members
Active members are defined as those members whose Engagement stage in any integration
is not lowest
at the end of a date bucket.
For the report, we use a simple sum of all members who fit these criteria.
Inactive members are defined as those members whose Engagement stage across all integrations
is lowest
at the end of a date bucket.
For the report, we use a simple sum of all members who fit these criteria.
In other words, for each date bucket, we are not counting members that fit the criteria at any point during the date bucket, but only if they fit the criteria at its end. It is possible to determine the intermittent counts by using higher granularity date buckets or by selecting just a part of the date bucket as a date range (not a full week for example)
Active member ratio
Is simply a ratio of Active members to Inactive members. Definitions can be found above.
Sums of active and inactive members are determined based on their status at the end of each date bucket. These two figures are then simply divided, and the result is a percentage of active members from the inactive ones (not the whole community size).
