Building customised dashboards in Insights

In order to add specific views to a dashboard, they need to be existent in the Reports section

Example: We created a Slack Cumulative View under Activity Growth All Time Reports

Now that we created this view, we will be able to see it n the drop-down menu when building our dashboard.

💡

Attention: Changes in one of the views affect all users in the account and all the views in eventual dashboards

Tip: Set up a naming convention that reflects the view. For example, Slack Cumulative Yearly, or Slack Cumulative Quarterly (as the date picker reflects only what has been chosen in the view)

Your very own dashboard builder lets you setup specific dashboards based on your KPI’s.

Start by giving it a name in the upper left corner of the insights tab. Click that little arrow and you will move to the sub-space.

The subspace has been created with your personalised name

Now start adding the views that are crucial to this dashboard by either using the blue button in the middle or the small + button in the upper right corner

💡

Whenever you update a view (even if it’s just the date range) you will have to refresh the data in the upper right corner.
